At Boston Bay Wines we offer a unique wedding and reception venue, with spectacular ocean views, a delightful garden setting and a superb catering service specializing in the presentation of local seafood and produce.

The vineyard itself with its rows of vines and sparking blue ocean backdrop is a delightful setting for your wedding and provides fantastic photo opportunities.

Seating is flexible depending upon your requirements – we have both inside and outside areas available. The venue is available the day previous for decorating purposes.

Our recently rennovated function room and bar area is able to seat between 120 - 130 guests, however more people can be accommodated depending upon the space required for a dance floor or band. Our licence enables us to have up to 200 guests on premise (fingerfood style).

We also have a small room which is directly adjacent to the main cellar door area which can be used if you have children you wish to cater for. The gardens are also available for use.

Catering Options:
There are a number of catering options available. * All prices are available on enquiry

  • Set Menu (entree, mains, dessert) which is served alternately / choice. Three / Four choice menus available
  • On all menus you may choose to add nibbles on arrival or dessert / cheese

Music
We have a CD player which you are welcome to use by prerecording music of your choice. The PA system has both internal and external speakers which project music into the gardens. We have a cordless microphone which the MC for the evening is able to use and it is suitable if you have a wedding singer using backing tracks. An Ipod can be plugged in through the headphone jack.

Other options for music which you would need to organise yourself include:

  • A DJ
  • Hiring a juke box
  • Organising a band that can play either inside or outside.
  • We have a grand piano which can also be used.
    Music World in Port Lincoln is a good option if you require the contact details of particular bands/ DJ's etc.

Decorating

We reccomend hiring your table linen. We have a limited number of tablecloths available for $15 each. These tablecloths drop to approximately chair seat height over the edge of the table. If you require floor length linen you will need to arrange this through a decorating company.

Decorating

We have 130 silver / maroon chairs which seat 8 to a round table. These chairs are not suitable for covering. If you require covered chairs these will need to be hired.

We have 8 round tables which seat 8 and 4 round tables which seat 10. We also have a number of smaller round tables which seat 5.

General Venue Information

  • Boston Bay Wines is licensed until 1am the following day.
  • Please no confetti – you're welcome to use fresh or dried rose petals.
  • Strictly no BYO drinks.
  • Beverages are charged on consumption - we do not offer a per head package.
